For the Saints wasn't a big deal after all, other than going perfect. It was probably for the best... take loads of pressure off... Take care of business @ home against Tampa next week. Wrap up that #1 seed!!! WHO DAT!!!!

If the Saints had gone into the playoffs at 16-0, the pressure on them would have been unbelievable. I've been saying for a month now that their best chance to win the Super Bowl would be to lose a game during the regular season.

once you get to the playoffs, who cares if you are 16-0 or 15-1? It's one and done regardless. The pressure is the fact if you lose, it's over. Not the fact, if you lose, you aren't undefeated anymore.
you don't have to deal with all the hype and hoopla of being asked 50 times a day if you're going to be the team that makes history and finishes 19-0. Hell, the Saints have been looking like the pressure of being undefeated has been affecting them since they were 9-0. It would have just gotten worse and worse every week until they finally caved and lost a game. Better for them to do that in the regular season than the postseason.
Its obvious after last night's game the saints are HURTING in the secondary, I mean hell McKenzie is starting after not being on the team. Wrap up #1 seed next week at home then have two bye weeks, week 17 and wild card weekend to recover. This team needs to get healthy.
