SEC Network + is awful . . . no sound, no commentary, poor video, crappy camera locations . . . ESPN should be embarrassed.

Not on us. Game was played in a A league stadium in N Augusta. They are responsible for production. That's on us. SEC Network+ games are run by the hosting school. So that's our athletic department dropping the ball, not the SEC Network.
That's a really nice park. Why do you believe they are obligated to show SEC Network games? Not on us. Game was played in a A league stadium in N Augusta. They are responsible for production.
Saw Whittle commenting on it last night. The home venue is always responsible for the production for SECN+ games. The Clem game at Segra sucked too. That's a really nice park. Why do you believe they are obligated to show SEC Network games?
Right. I don't think neutral sites are really "responsible." What do they care? It still falls on the university. But I do see the point that we are fortunate to get any TV coverage of a neutral site game. It's better than watching on facebook live.Saw Whittle commenting on it last night. They care bc they get to host a game and generate revenue for it. It’s not USC’s responsibility to broadcast this game.Right. I don't think neutral sites are really "responsible." What do they care? Generating revenue means selling tickets. They don't care about the broadcast and apparently it showed. They care bc they get to host a game and generate revenue for it. It’s not USC’s responsibility to broadcast this game.
It's a single A baseball program. This was likely the only broadcast of the year for them.Generating revenue means selling tickets. They don't care about the broadcast and apparently it showed.
I agree. It wasn't too long ago you couldn't even get big time SEC matchups on TV at all. Now we're complaining about a Tuesday night broadcast vs Georgia State. The games on SEC+ are usually rock solid to be honest. Last night wasn’t, but I think this thread is a bit of an overreaction.
They broadcast all home games. There was a thread on TIF about this, which brought up the fact that typically these broadcasts are run by interns and likely the staff hasn't even been hired yet. So this early in the year you get a bare bones broadcast. It's a single A baseball program. This was likely the only broadcast of the year for them.![]()
