If he’s being airlifted to Memphis, then it’s to the Med. and if that’s the case, then it is really bad.
If that's the case it's bad, real bad. Normally around this area it's Tupelo or Columbus unless it's real bad. I haven't seen that yet.
He’s in the hands of some of the best doctors, if he’s at the Med…. Spent 2 weeks there myself back in may. Definitely praying for him!
Absolutely. I don't know the extent of the area they cover in Arkansas and Tennessee, but it's most of North Mississippi. I suspect it's most of West TN, the Arkansas Delta, and maybe even up into the Missouri Bootheel. Probably about the same area as the Memphis NWS office covers.
Airlift to the Med is serious.
The Med is a Level 1 trauma center. UMC is the only MS hospital that is Level 1. So, in North MS patients are usually sent to the med.
No MS Medical Center in Tupelo is a Level 2 trauma center.
