I’m gonna guess the hint is he’s letting these schools know he’s about to commit and seeing who’s gonna throw a crazy offer out at the last minute.

They've sure been mouthy af here lately. Glad the rivalry is coming back a bit- but they need to know their place.
But the UofL one is on TOP of Kentucky.....and he's angled towards Oregon and KU.
All that to say, we have no clue. I sure hope he's coming here. We need a huge recruiting splash like Wall or Davis to let the world know BBN is coming back.

Kansas and Louisville are out. He was never going to UL, that was all to make UK pay more. Players like that don’t go to UL.
Kansas is out. He’s signed with Nike. That was to make a bidding war between Nike and Addidas. He wanted both listed to show interests in either brand.
It’s Kentucky likely, but Oregon is Nike family and something to be concerned with. If Nike wants to go all in and begin something starting with him, it could happen.
I know this. Turning down UK, the tradition, the legacy, the lifetime fame, to go to Oregon would show he’s not what we want anyway. Nearly all players that turn down what UK offers for just some other school, like CJ Leslie did (example) doesn’t understand the situation. CJ would still be revered at Kentucky. At NCState they’ve never heard of him by now. It’s a huge mistake and the only players I find it acceptable are players who go to another blue blood (even though UK is bigger and different than the rest and much more admired / famous here) or someone like Jaylen Brown who knew the situation and wanted academics and a quiet experience. Who didn’t care about the fame and didn’t want it. I can’t hate on that.

It's still possible he did ask it to be made that way. I would think you don't want 2 blue jeseys with Kansas and UK. But he has 2 red jerseys with USC and Louisville.
Hopefully he announces today and we can stop guessing/hoping.

I think it's between us and Oregon. And I don't see the argument for Oregon. People act like they'll give him more money becuase PK wants Oregon to get players. Nike is going to pay this kid a crap ton no matter what. It's better for him and Nike if he winds up at a blue blood that's on prime time tv for every game.
