Ik he doesn’t owe us anything or a time but is he supposed to be committing or what? At least have a date? Hes taken all his visits right? All this smoke for the last week I sure hope it’s something to it.

Is there any truth to the concerns about his temper/ego or is that just scuttlebutt? Heard someone relay on this board that he's the love of kid to postpone his decision if it leaks, which doesn't sound great, but again, could just be scuttlebutt.
I've only seen 1 video of the kid but hes constantly cussing and stuff . He's the type of player we'd love here but hate if he played anywhere else if that makes sense? Kinda like Cousins
As long as he's not a locker room cancer, I'd love to have an athletic trash talker. Liggins, Cousins, Kriisa... I like it.
Hopefully getting to college and being surrounded by people as athletic as him will humble him a bit and knock down any ego he might have.
Now that yall have brought it up. I don’t think Kentucky should go after him anymore. If he said a cuss word after ripping someone’s head off on a violent poster I don’t think we should have that around our program. Barney might not approve. Could set us back ages.

I bet Oregon and Kansas are still trying to come up with a bigger bag than us...I bet that's what the hold up is he's gonna give them a little more time to see if they can outbid us...im sure the staffs from those schools are in his ear about this...it may be a situation were we have to come over the top of those schools at the end after they offer more than us...Will Pope do it or not is the question...Watch Oregon or Kansas offer his mom a job on the staff lol that would be our luck

I haven’t heard that but by watching videos, he seems like the kind of guy that feeds off trash talk. Seems to me that it gets him going so to speak, but that’s just judging off a few videos. Pope seems to value guys character and I don’t think he’d bring someone on if they were a locker room cancer type of guy. He knows that BBN loves a guy with an attitude on the court, that’s why he was so excited about Kerr last year.
Pope isn’t going to recruit a bad egg. The only thing I’ve seen from the videos of him is that he’s very competitive. Never seen anything to be worried about.

I wish I was as confident that it is a two man race. But I honestly feel like it’s between the five he reposted. If they weren’t still a player then he would have posted UK and Oregon.
Im not freaking out over his decision or trying to rush him I was only expecting something from all the smoke the last few days. More than likely it’s just going through the normal steps like you say but man it sure seemed like we were gonna find something out. Just disappointed. But I get it and hope when he does decide it’s UK.
He just signed a deal with Nike. He's not going to sign a deal with Nike and then go wear addidas gear at Kansas or Louisville.
I guess USC is Nike. But there just doesn't seem to be a good logical reason for Stokes or Nike to go USC over the other 2.
As far as posting or not posting the other schools--this is where the "just a hat on the table" phrase comes from. Kids string schools along to keep eyes and attention on them. There have been countless recruits over the years go into a decision saying Kentucky was in the mix when we knew we were out.
pope can NOT let his number 1 target go to an adidas school, especially since uk is an option
