Exhibit A: Wesley Carroll. As the season went on and he accumulated more tutelage under our coaching staff, he got worse.

To be honest, Relf actually impressed me more than I thought he would. He seemed to have good quickness and he's got the physical tools. Threw well on the run and threw a few very good passes. Not the best on decision-making and he's got some problems to work on, but given that he will be a RS FR in the fall, I think he showed some potential to become a very good QB. But I ain't an expert.

That said, that was the dullest <17>ing game Ive ever seen in my life. Henig threw fewer interceptions against LSU than the amount thrown in this game. The defense looked very good but then again, the offense and o-line looked very, very bad. Elliott looked ok, but seemed to go down on first contact every single time.

Ya'll better hold every team to 3 points or its going to be an ugly season. If it helps, we won't be able to stop anybody ourselves.

Well, you'd have to expect a letdown after we played such an offensively explosive liberty bowl....

I'm pissed that Garrett broke his commitment to go to LSU, but really the only thing I blame him for is ever committing to us in the first place. He probably has a better QB coach at Tupelo HS this spring than he would have had if he'd gone through spring practice with us next spring.

I'd also like to add that Omarr got progressively worse. He was a lot worse in 2005 than he was in 2004. Henig never should have been on the field to begin with. Wes got worse as the season rolled on last year.

I agree Lee looked really good, especially considering that his line basically fell on their faces after each snap. I don't think Carroll had his head in the game. Relf is going to be a real asset to us, but you are right about his decision making. I thought it was funny that we couldn't tackle quarterbacks, but Relf put a pretty strong block on somebody during a reverse play.
