should have put a spoiler warning in and put it in the body of the message. Still worth watching. Will edit so as to not rule 17 it for anyone else.

For a bunch of mostly pretty girls, those U.S. players are tough as nails. They aren't afraid to hit someone or to take a hit (and for those who think soccer isn't a contact sport, yeah this was a very physical game). To win the gold against Brazil playing without their leading scorer and another starter due to injury was incredible. Great job to shut out the top offensive team in the world for 120 minutes, despite incredible pressure. I don't know who they gave the woman of the match to, but my vote goes to goalkeeper Hope Solo. It was a team win and the defense played great, but Solo made several outstanding saves and played nearly a perfect game. If y'all remember, it was the semifinal match against Brazil in the World Cup last year when the former coach sat Solo down and started the old goalkeeper that caused all the controversy when Solo went public calling him out after the 4-0 loss.</p>

Even if you know the score, this game is still worth watching. I'm planning on watching it again tonight. Easily the best women's soccer game I've ever seen (and I've followed the U.S. national team for years) and one of the better soccer games overall I've seen.
