UGA picked up two Bama players in portal

Pope is a DB they got last week and today they picked up Downs, a safety. Pope was a 4 star out of Buford and Downs is a 5 star. Kirby is going to have to push some kids out of the program to make room for these two plus several more.

I wonder if Beamer will go after any UGA players who leave?

Beamer is busy recruiting South Central State and Detroit Metro School of Nursing, so probably not.

OSU is doing an in-him Downs, so I wouldn't count him for UGA quite yet. Most likely that's where he'll end up, but he's at least looking around.

I think he made it official today.

Not sure. 11 minutes ago on Twitter, On3 had a breakdown of whether he will pick OSU or UGA.

As I said above, I have no doubts he will end up at UGA in the end.

Ultimately, what matters is that he won't be at Bama when we play them next year.
