If Kentucky takes down Drexel on Monday night, the Wildcats will boost their record to 12-0. Prior to the national media picking up on any notions of an undefeated season, freshmen DeMarcus Cousins and John Wall have talked about the possibility UK could go undefeated in '10.</p>

The last team to finish the season undefeated was the 1975-76 Indiana Hoosiers and Cousins sees the potential. "We've got a real good chance," said Cousins. Teammate Patrick Patterson echoed those sentiments: "We think it's pretty realistic. If we continue to improve offensively and defensively, we believe an unbeaten season can happen."</p>

The Wildcats, however, may be the only ones who think they can go undefeated. According to Ken Pomeroy, Texas has a 25.88 percent chance of going undefeated in 2010.</p>

Looking at their remaining schedule, the team that is going to the most likely to pull an upset before SEC play starts. The SEC isnt the NBA Western Conference but having to go to Starkville, Vandy, UT, and Florida without a loss aint gonna happen

As you said too many roadblocks in there. I'd love for them to be undefeated when they come to Starkville. If we pull the W, that will be huge for us.

I know they had 1 loss in the regular season in 1996 to UMass early in the season but if they have that kind of a year again and if, by some chance, that has the same effect on State (SECT win + Deep run in the NCAA), I'm not going to complain.

His projected record for every team:

13-3 Mississippi State
12-4 Ole Miss
11-5 Tennessee
10-6 Kentucky
10-6 Florida
8-8 South Carolina
8-8 Alabama
7-9 Vanderbilt
6-10 Auburn
4-12 Georgia
4-12 LSU
3-13 Arkanasas

Remember, these are mathematical projections not based on just wins/losses, but actual analysis of each team's offensive and defensive performances relative to what the opposition usually allows.
Really shows a break from reality in the AP top 25.

and less computers/computations.

6 conference losses? I just don't see that happening.

which means they have to play on the road against UT, Florida, Vandy, and SC before even looking at their West slate. None of those will be easy.
