Ole Miss is not going to succeed in SEC play only because of rebounding their losing the rebound battle nearly every game and with like Auburn they stand no chance Ole miss will make the tournament but only as a 10 seed y’all will see look back at this comment

I have felt that the University of Mississippis basketball team has been overrated for much of the year. This loss will allow us to move up a bit before we start off SEC season with wins over South Carolina and Vanderbilt.

I have not understood their ranking all season long.
Me either. I thought it might be because of the writers having a stiffy for Beard, but I figure journalist might not like him, because of his issue, but who knows? I know they Tebs do a great job of controlling the press narrative, while we suck at it.

It was a joke they’ve been ranked ahead of us all year. When we play those soft non-conference schedules we never sniff the top 25.

When I was at State, everybody, regardless of major, had to take the English Proficiency Exam prior to their junior year. It was a 500-word handwritten essay on a topic chosen by the committee. If the student failed, they had to take Bonehead English, and take it as many times as it took to pass.
I actually love all of this. Bring it back.

I have often wondered if certain schools didn't pay (bribe?) "journalists" for positive press. Ole Miss and Tennessee always get much more positive press than they should.

It has to be a thing. Look at this. It's a paid to print article. I wonder what it costs.

Stellar Buffaloes era? They went 4-8 last year and 9-4 this year in the weakest major conference in the country. I know 9-4 is the best record they’ve had in a while and Hunter won the Heisman, but a 13-12 record over two years doesn’t sound very stellar.

If I'm a Colorado brand marketing person or players agent, I put articles like this in the agreement. Spin my 5 star guy(s) as heroes no matter what. Build their brand every day even in beat down losses.

That’s a lot of hype for a 9-4 team in a 2nd rate conference that will finish the season unranked.
