Update: Furman Football Player (Bryce Stanfield) Dies

Pray for Bryce Stanfield and his family. Suffered a medical emergency during a workout at the stadium this morning. He was transported to Greenville Memorial Hospital and listed in Critical Condition on Life Support. Man, I really hope this kid pulls through!

Terrible news. Bryce Stanfield passed away Friday afternoon. Continuing to pray for his family and those close to him. Just awful.

It’s a small detail, but a touching one…Furman held a small, private ceremony to award him his Bachelors of Science Degree in Health Science before he passed.

Sounds like he suffered a seizure during a workout and collapsed on the side of the field.
