USC/MSU basketball game

Paris called a TO with under 8 minutes remaining, our next four possessions were TURNOVERS. I turned the channel, too hard to watch. Awful basketball, but pretty much the season in a nutshell. We are short on talent, have no true PG, are weak in the paint, with very little depth. However, I think our guys continue to give effort, and are trying. Even if we had won the game, it wouldn't have meant a thing. Unless the greatest basketball miracle of all time happens, & Paris's Cocks win the SEC tournament, this has been the worst season of Carolina basketball in my 46 years on this earth.
Curiously, though, it's the team I've followed the most closely in quite a while. There's something about a train wreck haha
Frank's teams were neither good enough nor bad enough to catch my attention.
Goodness, if that happened and we ended up in the NCAAT, some of our fans would want to give him a fully guaranteed lifetime contract.
Inside 10 mins to go, MSU stole the ball time after time. We lost any chance to win after so many empty possessions. And many of them were run outs.
CLP needs to bring in a high quality pg. we really haven’t had a really good ons since PJ Dozier. That’s unforgivable on Frank Martin.
I’d like to see us add a quality PF-C as well as a really good wing. We do that and we can have a chance to be a good solid team. It’ll be a very interesting off season. I hope it’s very productive.

I watched the last few games. From what I've seen, this team has some (fixable) issues. I came home one day and saw my son trying to shoot from the end of the driveway. I waited until just before he was ready to shoot and pressed the horn for like 10 sec. I told him practice doesn't make perfect, perfect practice does. Tennessee and MSU both put on clinics against us and we could use those as positives. A lot of takeaways from the way they played. There's a difference between passing and moving the ball. Our passes didn't really do anything and seem to be mostly behind the arc. Ball movement is designed to get the defense off-balanced. If you watch the last two games, we gave up a ton of points on layups/dunks and wide open shots because we couldn't react to the ball movement. I'm not at practice so I'm not sure what goes on there, but we don't move the ball well. When we try it looks foreign. It shows defensively too. We give up a lot of easy shots to teams that move the ball. If the talent isn't there work on the fundamentals. The closer you are to the basket, the better chance you have of making the shot. The free throw line hasn't moved since...? Can we make 2 out of 3. You don't need the best players to have a good team.
