Well OJ’s number is too, so he has a low bar to hit in order to be the worst USC retired number.
OJ was a hell of a running back college and NFL. And quite the butcher
I understand the kid's potential but he did not do enough in college to retire his number in my opinion.
There is the small matter of a Heisman Trophy he won. They have retired the numbers of all of their winners. He also broke a BUNCH of single season records there. That's not easy to do at that place.

I mean they didn’t win enough but he did win the Heisman. I think it’s a tradition there if you win the Heisman they retire your jersey.
