Yeah I’ll believe that Clemson is coming to the B1G the day the ink hits the paper. Until then
I can see FSU. I also see at least two other ACC schools as more attractive targets that Clemson and one of them isn't ASWP.Yeah I’ll believe that Clemson is coming to the B1G the day the ink hits the paper. Until then
Arizona leader calls for a board meeting tomorrow. This is \ was not scheduled prior to this week. The agenda is not listed with any title or theme. My guess….related to B12 overture that began heating up again last week. Would not shocked by a move/ announcement….soon.

North Carolina, Virginia.I can see FSU. I also see at least two other ACC schools as more attractive targets that Clemson and one of them isn't ASWP.
Yes, and let us not overlook ND. Whatever one might feeal about the school, they bring the $$$.North Carolina, Virginia.
Wouldn't North Carolina want an agreement which keeps their basketball game with Duke a solid lock to be played each year? Can't imagine NC coming into a new conference without protecting the NC/Duke basketball game each yearNorth Carolina, Virginia, Oregon and Washington would create 1 heck of a Super Conference.

Those days are gone.don’t forget how VaTech got into the ACC. That was the Va legislature’s doing.
wonder if Oregon will have the same issue with Ore St

And they will break up into 5 team divisions, Penn State will be grouped with USC, UCLA, Wash, and Oregon.
Bigger than that, UNC and NC State are both part of the UNC system.Wouldn't North Carolina want an agreement which keeps their basketball game with Duke a solid lock to be played each year? Can't imagine NC coming into a new conference without protecting the NC/Duke basketball game each year
And UCLA is part of the University of California. Lot of good that did Berkeley.Bigger than that, UNC and NC State are both part of the UNC system.
They would be nice additions but I don't see it. If TV ratings drive the conf. alignment bus I don't see what adding NC or UVA does.North Carolina, Virginia.
Agree, but for a conference poaching the ACC for expansion, FSU, UNC, and UVa would be the targets (and, of course, ND). Miami and FSU could be interchangeable parts and I'm not married to UVa.They would be nice additions but I don't see it. Seatle and AZ is where I would look for the next expansion. (I think) they are #11 and #12 in tv markets. And with the way Phoenix is growing it will be moving up.
Notre Dame is still the Gorilla in the room.
Pac-12 commissioner George Kliavkoff may not have a lot with which to work, but these reports are pretty unimpressive. The Apple streaming option has been floated for months. It's questionable if the tiers will be met, and does not help with regards to getting eyes on the conference programs for those that don't care to subscribe.
IIRC, George K has been pulling down around $3.5 Million per year. That may be the worst ROI for any college sports entity everI love the smell of burning toast in the morning.
Apples and oranges comparison. And UCLA is part of the University of California. Lot of good that did Berkeley.
Beggars can't be choosers.

In the case of most of the Pac12 programs, NOT seeing them will be to their advantage. It used to be said that west coast players were at a disadvantage in the Heisman race because the rest of the country didn’t see the play due to the time difference. Now even fans on the west coast won’t see them play.
