Jones is pitching alright through 3...3 H, 2 R. No offensive support though.

That's a tough break. Our pitchers and defense have been so much more effective with Messina back there.
If you had to pick one player you could least afford to lose, it's Messina in my opinion. Hope he's ok.
Man, Casas is struggling. Great series against UK, been invisible since. Prior to that, had 1 HR in 13 games. Hasn't had a multi hit game in 8 games. Really need him to wake up. When we were rolling it was Casas, Petry, and Messina in the middle of the lines causing all kinds of havoc. That's taken a huge dip which is the MAJOR reason for our slump at the end.

Trying to match our softball team the other day it looks like so far. Just need to square one up and get something going. Their pitcher has stayed behind in the count, but we've chased a few bad ones.
Looked like we were on to something after getting a couple hard hits to start the inning, but went down 3 in a row after that.
Hopefully Jones will keep pitching well and let our offense chip away some more. Hurd already at 80 pitches.

LSU back to work B5, opened the inning with a couple hard hits. 2 on, 0 out. Jones pulled with the top of the order coming up.
This one's obviously over. Gotta start managing to win tomorrow.

2 questionable strike calls on Casas. But he didn’t exactly sell either one of them.
We are so screwed if we have to start swinging at everything close. We have some guys who havent done that all year.
Based on the zone all day, that one was high!
Sure looked high to me. Thought it was a no-brainer ball.
I'm not sure Casas saw a strike in that at bat. The one he chased was in the dirt. Shouldn't have come down to those two calls.
