that may be a legit number... i don't really know. i drove by just to glance and there was no one on one side... about 2 people in the upper deck on the other, and i couldn't see the lower deck, but if it was full, I could see there being that many people.

So, you are gloating that they had 11k+ and fell short of their goal. Uh, WTF do you think our attendance? I say good job to them for getting that many to a spring game. ****, in terms of ratio of avg game attendance to spring game attendance, they wore our *** out.

and just finished the biggest fluke of a season we`ve ever had to get to play a CUSA team in a tier three bowl and you`re running spring game attendance smack(because they didn`t make their goal) at a team that we quit playing because they kicked our *** so regularly ? We just had an 8 win season and didn`t have half as many at our spring game as they did ! There needs to be a name for the next step beyond being a sheep and your picture needs to be beside it.
sit on one side of the stadium. the other side consisted of about 10 band members. I wouldn't say the bottom of the one side they let people sit was "full". We had more than plenty of space around us and we sat around the 20 yard line. I heard there were people in the upper deck but did not get to see it. I would sat the 11K is a generous count.
You've got to establish that strong defensive foundation and not show any of your offense for next fall's opponants to scout. And you shouldn't market it because it's every fan's responsibility to find out when the spring game is and show up.

For those laughing at USM for barely drawing 1/3 of their announced target, consider that they drew twice as many as we did for our spring game and twice as many as we will for an entire series of baseball against the defending SEC champs.

The shine will wear off. They won't have the firepower to keep people's attention. I saw the highlights on the news last night and this picture from the clarion ledger. A large number did pull out some ugly yellow to come out yesterday. But what does that mean, really? Nothing.
