that you say that about a game in 80s. That's a whopping 2.22 and 2.17 points per minute for those teams.

Too many times good defense gets confused with horrible offense. Games in the 60's aren't good defense. Games in the 60's just suck.</p>

It's painful, especially Wisconsin. It works for them, though, so more power to 'em. But watching it on TV should come with one of those ratings - "may be disturbing to some viewers. Viewer discretion advised."

Also, I think it's hilarious how craptastic Michigan hoops has become.

They actually were a combined 27-100 from the floor (17-50 for Wisc and 10-50 for Mich). I'm not sure which would be uglier. A game where there were only 50 shots taken by both teams in 40 minutes or a game where the teams only made 1/4 of their shots.

Yep... typed that one wrong.

27 made shots in 40 minutes of basketball.

Holy ****. I'm actually borderline appalled that a game like that can occur in the year 2008.

in styles and how deep in the shot clock the teams are taking shots. There were 30 less shots taken in the Wisc/Michigan game than the USC/UT game. Then add to that that Michigan looked like they had 5 Brutius out there shooting, and the score was very ugly. Even when Wisconsin is winning they are using most of the 30 second clock as well.

With that being said, there is really no reason for a major conference basketball team to have less than 50 points in the entire game.
