I'm still amazed at how little people seem to care about basketball. More time is spent talking about football recruiting and NIL crap.

Gamecocks lead 30-26 at the halftime. Neither team has shot well in the 1st half - USC at .367 (11-30), and UT at .364 (12-33). Fouls (6 for USC, 5 for UT) and turnovers (3 for each) are very low. The Gamecocks have shot 4-6 from the foul line, while the Vols have yet to take a free throw attempt.....
We make teams play our speed. Hope it’s enough to win this one. Guys are playing hard and disciplined.
Both teams struggling to make shots. Gamecocks have been fouling Tennessee, sending them to the free throw, where they have been generating their points. Need to stop that.

Refs will play a factor in this game - last 3 UT possessions have ended with a foul on USC - we can’t touch them without being called yet they are handchecking the piss out of us and nothing
HUGE 3-pt shot by Talon Cooper!!! Tennessee was surging to bring the score to 56-53, then Cooper hits the 3 to extend it back to 59-53. Now 39 seconds left!!!

Tennessee hits the three to pull the score to 59-56. Vols call a timeout. On the inbounds, Stute is fouled. He makes both - 61-56 with 23 seconds left. Vols hit another three out the *** to pull within 3 again 61-59.

Knecht scored 31 of Tennessee's 59 total points. The rest of the Vols team shot 10-34 (.294) and 2-13 (.154) from the three. Solid defense!
Johnson , Cooper, and Wright all have ice water in their veins when it comes to handling the ball. Add in our post presence and this team is hard, very hard to beat if they shout a decent percentage. They play hard, physical defense as well. For those of you not paying attention it’s about damn time you did.

Great win! Not to take anything away from it but if UcheaT did not have Knecht they would have very little offense.
Yep. I said earlier he’s going to get his. But the key is him getting it on 30 shots. That’s exactly what happened.
Former Vanderbilt player.......he's had to hear a lot of **** during his time in Nashville. Tonight had to be great pleasure for him.....
