Doesn't look good. They had 3 players arrested for rape and sexual assault last year. And he's suspended for "actions he took in spring of 2023." Looks like he tried to cover up or hinder the investigation of the players. He's toast.

If memory serves, Blake Anderson's wife died very tragically a few years ago while he was coaching at Arkansas State. Odd deal.

And this from The Athletic probably isn't helping any .... In 2021, Anderson apologized after audio was leaked where he said it’s never been more glamorized to be a victim of sexual assault, as part of a team presentation with the USU police chief Earl Morris.

You never know but he would be down my list of people that would get caught up in something like this.

University announced he will be fired for Title IX violations regarding timely reporting of disclosure of sexual misconduct or domestic violence. Looks like he tried to sweep it under the rug and it cost him his job.

I have no idea why adults think it's proper to report crimes to a teacher, coach, preacher, administrator, etc. Go to the cops/DA for goodness sake. Your just asking for it to be covered up if reported to anyone other than LE. If reported to a teacher, coach, preacher, administrator, etc., that person should immediately say, "stop let me get 5-0 on the horn."

Story also indicates that he had a son that committed suicide at age 22. The man's been dealt a couple of tough hands, but he apparently didn't handle his business correctly,

Looks like the “cover up” was extra ammo to let him go. Suspension from spring of 23? In summer of 24?
