To be fair most of Joseph Smith family did not migrate to Utah. The church split after he was murdered. The other church was called "The reorganized church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day saints". They were the decedents of Joseph Smith. That church has another name now. I believe it is call, "The community of Christ".
