Can anyone comment on how he looks in practice?
Oh, the humanity!Hope he does not crash and burn like Hin Den Berg.
Thank you. I will see myself out
.
Iāve seen him lift and 100% know heāll be pushing people around. The part about his agility bonafides hadnāt yet registered with me, wow, man, honestly he could really show people something.Pretty sure I saw video of Van de berg squatting 600+ pounds with the rest of the team cheering him on. I think he may be flying under the radar a bit, but a kid that can contribute this season.
this guy along with Izzard, Ellies and Artis represent a key slot on the DL. BTN camp review by Dinardo pointed to this as one our keys v UMich and stopping the run. Some other tests will likley be Illinois and Iowa. we look to be better here in 2023.Definitely encouraged by the d-line's apparent progress. Not a knock on prior years - just an observation it appears to be on an upward trajectory.
I felt good about DT until Ford went down. Now it's fingers crossedthis guy along with Izzard, Ellies and Artis represent a key slot on the DL. Ford seemed to be slotted to play 3 tech where Beamon and Durant really seem to be bigger and improved, and entrenched. Ford may have been down on the depth chart anyway and for all we know may have been redshirted unless there were other injuries at DT. Hopefully Ford comes back bigger, faster and stronger in 2024 and makes an impact. But if the other DT's stay healthy PSU should be just fine at DT. And if one or more of the young DT's such as Artis break out significant depth will still be there this seasonI felt good about DT until Ford went down. Now it's fingers crossed
Agreed. Ford was not going to contribute much this year. Van Den Berg's short arms are an issue I believe. Top Oline players may he able to push him around.Ford seemed to be slotted to play 3 tech where Beamon and Durant really seem to be bigger and improved, and entrenched. As long as Van Den Bergs arms are long enough to ātouch the dirtā when he lines up, Iām good.Agreed. Ford was not going to contribute much this year. Van Den Berg's short arms are an issue I believe. Top Oline players may he able to push him around.
