Kinda sounds like we’re destined to be an also-ran in that scenario. Maybe it’s my pessimism, but……. I’d be good with having him to be a backup for Sellers.

But he wouldn't be good with that.

I’d rather have Stockton if we had to choose, but I’m good with Sellers.

Confirmed to UK.

I don't consider it much of a loss for us, but not excited about facing UK next year.
Please. They were going to be a beast with Levis. They were going to be a beast with Leary. Now they're going to be a beast with Vandergriff....the least experienced of the 3.

Have they just given up on recruiting HS QBs? Seems like that strategy hasn't really panned out.

We'll see. Vandagriff is the least experienced, but by far the highest rated coming out of high school.

I don't know if anyone thought they would be beasts with the previous 2, but they were most likely than they would have been otherwise.

It's not a terrible strategy if you're UK. It's worked to keep them at/around their 7-8 win mark, which is the barometer for success there. They had 10 wins in 2021. Reality is they can probably pick up better QBs in the portal than from high school.
