For no other reason than they’re SEC, going with Vandy just to have some juice in the game.

I’m just irritated I didn’t get to kill the time leading up to the game watching the Cup series race. :(

If you need a reason to root for Hawaii, just remember what jackasses Vandy’s fans and administration were during State’s natty run. Oh and 17 the Whistler. Go Warriors.

Timmy Chang as HC of Hawaii is cool- prodigious son coming home. Hope he can manage the program thru the next couple of years of no stadium so we can see what comes of it after.

Edited- wrong word used.

2nd worse fan base and athletic dept in the SEC. I hope they lose by 50.

Hawaii will always have a special place in my heart after they beat the crap out of BYU after they (and their officials) cheated (yes, cheated) us in Starkville in 2001.

Still the most obvious cheating I have ever seen.

Ole miss is so lucky they get to play Vandy every single year. Man this team doesn’t even look close to an SEC team

No but they are doing better than I thought they would 6 hours away from home. The SEC size and strength will crush the Vols but they are having fun tonight 28-10.

ETA: Mai Tai's are great for Hawaii jet lag.

Vandy team been there a week. That's how you reward players that won't have a chance to do much else.

Maybe we should schedule Hawaii- away and away? ***

Vandy 63, Hawaii 10- who saw that coming?

There were signs of this- Hawaii had a horrible off-season. Todd Graham resigned as HC in January after heavy criticism of his treatment of players and staff. Their best players went into the transfer portal. The new Coach Timmy Chang is a local hero in his first head coaching job (sorta Hawaii's version of Rockey Felker).

Vanderbilt is in the second season of Clark Lea, and they have some good athletes.

I thought vandys players looked good physically. The DL is a little undersized as usual, besides that though, was somewhat impressed.

I could see them getting an SEC win this year.

I had forgotten about all that with graham and all the players leaving. That will mess a program up.

Vandy had a good looking offense though. Guess we will see if it's fools gold in a few weeks and if Hawaiian defense was just that bad
