Vandy gives me hope. If they can turn it around so can we.
Vandy’s offensive scheme and defense limited Auburn to 58 offensive plays.
That’s how you win games vs teams that are more talented.
Are they even more talented though? Auburn’s pretty terrible….lost at home to an atrocious Cal team.
Yes they are more talented overall. Just like Alabama was. Vandy coaches know who they are and the style of football they have to play to give them a chance to win. The players have bought into that. Talented teams can underachieve just like less talented teams can be really good and tough to beat.
Cohen didn't hire Freeze. The AD doesn't hire football coaches at AU

Frosty’s problem is at qb. If, “IF” he swallows his pride and goes out and hires a crackerjack qb coach/OC, frosty will have them rolling.
This is their best chance ever to get back to the Dye days if they’ll be patient. Saban gone. Frosty at the helm. It can be done. They’re going to have to force a coach on him. My bet would be the guy at La Monroe. Coached the state at the high school level and turned a **** show into a winner.
I’m in LA, not mobile, and I’ve seen the talent frosty has recruited. He’s got some gorillas.
The only thing holding him back is qb.
It’s a different day and age though with the NIL/transfer portal. Freeze’s cheating recruiting edge has been legalized. That’s what made him good. Not mention, his offense is common now.
I know. The Yella Wood Guy and probably Rim Cook have more say than Cohen.
I'm assuming no AD at an SEC program (except maybe Vandy) makes FB HC hires. Likely a combo of the biggest boosters, AD and president.
