since first of all, if Mullen does think he is a candidate, it would be tactful to let him focus on and coach his team in a bowl game. Plus, with Martinez interviewing, it would make sense to focus on that for the time being. Mullen may not have talked to Diaz- yet.
I will say this on behalf of Mullen- one of my criticisms about hiring Martinez was the hastiness of it. That appears to not be the case, nor does Martinez appear to "be a done deal". So, kudos to Dan for taking his time with this.
I personally think what will end up happening is that Martinez will end up at Florida- more money and closer to home- and that we end up with Heater from Florida, which would be acceptable to me. That is all speculation on my part- I have no sources.

but that was just this past Sunday, and we had the interview with Martinez in the meantime. Now, after Christmas is over I could see us potentially talking to him.
