I think it’s more like Elton John announcing his first retirement back in the 1970s.

Here’s my take on it. When a chef uses industrial chemicals like like transglutaminase, lecithin, hydrocolloids, maltodextrin, etc. it’s called molecular gastronomy and costs $100 a plate. When McDonald’s and Tyson use those same industrial chemicals, it’s called frankenfood.
