Saw that this morning. He was on of the best. I met him in Los Angeles at a Dodgers/Braves game. We got to the game real early. Super nice. Chatted with me for about 20 min. After that, went down to our seats on first base line and talked to Tim Hudson for over an hour about SEC baseball. Was a great day. Vin was the man

Yes! Other than anything Dale Murphy, that was a great early memory here as well

Possibly my favorite play by play announcer of all time in any sport. I may have to go back and watch For Love of the Game again just to hear him.

Scully was right up there with the best of the best - maybe the best.
Joe Buck, Mike Shannon, Skip Caray, - his dad Harry was pretty damn good too.
