After the Saints loss, in which pundits are 100% in agreement that Rattler was the least of their problems in the game, he said:
"He said he was most disappointed with his two interceptions and took the blame for most of the sacks behind an injury-depleted offensive line. 'I caused a few of those sacks, you know what I mean? O-line, I thought, fought their butts off all day, played really well.'"
Playing behind a horrible OL and taking the blame for sacks that were very clearly NOT his fault and defends their play. It's like deja vu.
He's being lauded for his demeanor and professionalism in taking the blame for the sacks. Talent aside, this is one of the reasons he'll find success in the NFL. How much harder do you think that OL is going to play this week after a statement like Rattler made?

Saints' Rattler throws TD, 2 INTs in uneven debut
After the Saints' loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday, coach Dennis Allen said the team plans to stick with Spencer Rattler as the starting quarterback in place of the injured Derek Carr.
