Since college football season is all but over, I thought I'd ask if anyone else is spending some of their time listening to old stuff that they haven't listened to in some time. I decided to listen to some Jean Luc Ponty. Why? H%ll if I know, but it's decent background music. Any stuff you've pulled out of the crates lately?

When I'm digging in the crates, I need look no further than the Lennon Sisters. :)

Watched a concert on YouTube the other day with 10CC. What a great show and band. I never knew their one guitarist/songer, Graham Goildman, wrote hit songs for The Hollies, The Yardbirds, and Herman’s Hermits well worth the watch. Also have been revisiting Supertramp and The Tubes. Reliving my youth I guess!

Love this STP, my college Jr was home for break and got a CD player from his girlfriend for Christmas. Wife and I pulled out two crates of about 300 CDs for him to look through, which we haven’t touched in years. So wifey and I played things we haven’t heard in many years for about two hours that evening.
Wouldn’t let him take this 😊

Supertramp had some masterpieces (Even in the Quietest Moments immediately comes to mind). Breakfast in America became their signature release, but some earlier stuff was amazingly done. I always thought they were underrated.

I busted out the guns n roses Use Your Illusion vinyl box today. It's massive. The show from the Ritz in NYC is so raw and dirty. Izzy is still around.

Have to love the Lennon Sisters!
Controversial take:
They were better with Andy Williams than they were with Lawrence Welk.
I can't disagree. In the Welk years, especially early on, they were innocent looking and their voices less mature. With Andy they looked better and sounded better.

Although many years after my heyday, I love the 70's and 80's music and am a big fan of 10cc.
