Couple of thoughts…

1. Maryam Dauda is not SC quality. Lackadaisical passing, weak rebounding, low energy. Maybe she’s just finding her way amongst some really strong players, but she’s weak right now. Sakima Walker, although injured, isn’t a great replacement either.

2. Is Dawn killing Fulwiley’s progression? Fulwiley has a killer toolkit, and she’s the one player I want to really break out, but **** minutes seems to be holding her back. I don’t like Dawn’s use of her at all.

3. Really really need Bree Hall, Pao Pao, and Tessa to find their previous form. The shooting is down from last year, and we don’t have Cardoso’s clean up.

4. When this team is firing on all cylinders, you’re screwed.

Too early to give up on Dauda. It's tough going from not expecting to get meaningful minutes to now you are in the rotation. I would just rotate that 4th big spot based on effort in practice between Dauda, Walker, and Tac. Whoever gave me the best effort (especially on the boards) would play.

Probably about the best plan we can do. We're hurting underneath compared to the rest of the top five, and I can't see it not proving fateful in a bad way. I hope I'm incorrect.

It could be a whole lot worse. We have 3 6'3" post players. One that can be solid (Feagin) and 2 that can be top notch (Kitrs and Edwards). Of course, we would be in much better shape with Watkins. However, I have many times seen an improvement in play when there is not so much depth. Kitts and Edwards don't have to look over their shoulder anymore. They can just play, and in Edwards case, learn what she can and cannot do. I think Edwards is our most talented Big on the team anyway. May as well let her grow and learn on the fly.

So 40+ point winds aren’t enough for you?

It must be so difficult to sleep with that intellect! 40+ winds are wearry weathery, lol! DA
I am so offended by your comments. lol. Spell check does its own thing sometimes. If you proof read your posts all the time, then that shows you have no life. You're probably an AI fan.......you know, the AI on your phone that reads out names spelled like Richard as "Ricard." Or the word "record" (meaning someone's criminal record) in an AI voice over to sound like the word meaning to "record" a video. So if that's your big gotcha, consider me got.

Do me a favor, wait until Auburn goes up by 4 today before you start whining about finding a new coach. You can thank me later.

Dawn is NOT killing Fulwiley's progression. She has a special skill set, and a ton of natural ability and will be a star before she graduates.... but many times her defense stinks or she takes possessions off, she sometimes shoots 3s too early in the possession when there is no one in the paint to rebound, and she leads the team in turnovers despite not being a starter. Fun player to watch, but Fulwiley has a lot to learn on how to play at this level. Sometimes you have to put up with the bad because of the good you'll get, but on days where the bad outweighs the good, then you have to go to someone else.
