6ft2 F Mckenna Woliczko …Out for the year with an ACL injury. She might just be the too player on Dawns board for 2026. WBB worst case scenario could see 6 players leave this year. (3srs,2 draft eligible, 1 portal entry due to lack of PT)

On X wish her a speedy recovery.

Paopao and Feagin. I think Raven is draft eligible too even though she has a year of college eligibility left.
I believe those are all Seniors + Bree Hall and Sakima Walker unless she gets JUCO relief.

I would be surprised if Ashlyn left given the knee injury. She would probably need to have an injury free year in our program to get drafted where she would like.

The window is closing.
I wouldn't say that. Edwards is going to be bonafide star. Best prospect since A'ja IMO. You willl have a nucleus up front of Watkins, Kitts, and Edwards for another year. Also, Tac will be almost two years removed from her knee injury. She still can be brought along at her own pace. ....and you willl probably still have Dauda for another year for depth. In the backcourt you still have Fulwiley, Tessa, and Maddie at the very least. Finally, you are bringing in McDowell on the wing. Big wing at 6'2" and will be a prospect at least on Bree's level. We will go from insanely deep to very deep. It will probably help the team morale wise because everyone will be needed to play. Remember, we just had an undefeated, national championship team carrying a 10 woman roster.

Totally agree on your assessment. I'm hoping Carolina has built the dynasty in the mold of UConn. It just seems that the competition is fierce in women's basketball. Instead of one or two great teams, now you can go 1-10.

We could be a much better team right now if we could get even a modicum of value out of Tac. I know about the injury and all that, but look around. Joint and connective tissue injuries are pretty common with female athletes, as our own experience attests. They hit every program sooner or later.

This girl has had time to heal and rehab and it's time she showed some basketball chops - or be proven a wasted scholarship.

Tac has shown flashes in the small amount of time that she has played. However, if you have ever played basketball, it is hard to play when you get pulled for every mistake or only play garbage time minutes. That's where she is right now. Also, you really see what a player is in that second year after a knee injury. I know some want to push her because we want to maintain that same formula for winning. However, we don't have to push her this year to win. Let her develop at her own pace like Cardoso did. Bigs are the slowest to develop in most cases.

A certain urgency attaches to the possibility that we might never again assemble as much total talent as we had last year and have this year - not ever. We need to strike while the iron is hot. She needs to help.

No question that Women’s hoops is getting more balanced each year.It can be argued Dawn should be at 5 championships. They were heavy favorites the year Covid cancelled the tournament and of course 2 yrs ago when they clearly were the best team but got out coached in the semis .But you don’t know how long this run can last so if you have a shot you need to cash in.

Two bunnies at the end of the game we lost to Stanford. She should definitely be at five, so as a program, we have underachieved, which isn't all on her. The Freshies left here with one championship. Tragic.

Not wanting to sound too negative but our under-achieving came with some strong assists from the officials against Iowa and Stanford. No disagreement but some additional input or perspective on these two horrible losses. Agree with you on your observations. I will never be a Lexie Hull fan for that field goal attempt. Perfect form.

I'm so glad for the Insider forum. I don't miss these moronic posts at all.
