I’m shocked how bad this team is shooting. 35 pts at the half?? And poor Raven…she is terrible. Thank god for our defense, because this team can’t shoot for ****.

I’m so tired of you “we’re fine don’t worry” pumpers. Fact is, our ppg and shooting % suck. Edwards looks like a freshman. She looks just like the other stars we’ve had, but she’s no Juju Watkins or Hidalgo. So far she’s looked okay. Fulwiley still looks bad…Kitts, Tessa, and Paopao look VERY pedestrian. Breezy is regressing, and Sakima Walker is not SC material. Tell me where I’m wrong.
This team should be a well oiled machine, but they ain’t playing like it.

We should have scored at least 90 on that team. Offense is choppy. That truth evades only an ostrich.

No, the team is not running on all cylinders and we lost a game. The problem is that all UCLA gets for that win is a congratulations. Sort of like Kentucky got when they beat us in the 2022 SEC Tournament. At this point, our program is built around the hope of winning 6 games in March. Further, none of our players will get the minutes to put up numbers like a Watkins or Hidalgo. So, I don't know how individual performances are even relevant to what we have going on here. We have some players struggling right now. It happens. They are human. However, they are champions and how much faith can you really have if one early season road loss can shake your belief in them turning it around.

Agree, gotta call it like it is.
Just not playing together like a team and player roles are not yet established as they have been with past teams.

No, don’t have a Cardoso or Boston in the low post. We’ll win plenty of games but not an NCAA championship team. The team is great but needs a post player to come in next year. Funny how we are fussing about a top 10 program that , after a couple of Natty’s won’t win one this year. You can’t win it every year, pipe dream if you think so. Dawn will recruit at a high level and will win another championship, probably more. Just may not happen this year. I wish our other programs were at Dawn’s level. Girls came out and curbed stomped ranked ISU. What else can you ask for?

Absolutely, still a very talented team that will win many games. Not likely another championship, SoCal and UConn are loaded, but again, we can’t be the best team every year. We have been spoiled. Dawn will get us back there. She recruits at a high level

Just got out of there with victories. We have time to build. We will win plenty of games to have a good seed for the tournament. From there, it turns out how it turns out.

We return almost all of an undefeated defending championship team. No point in being blase' about what should be our ceiling, which is at the very top.

These girls have completely let go during the offseason and can't recapture their form, it's as simple as that. The problem I had with the UCLA loss is that we looked totally noncompetitive with them. They made us look like absolute nobodies. That just shouldn't be - not anytime against anybody.

No, She is just young and hasn't played basketball in almost a year due to injuries. She will be fine. If you remember, there were a lot of questions about Cardoso in her 1st year. It took her until about mid-season before she started contributing.

I'm ready to see her contribute. Frankly, I thought that Cardoso was an offensive liability until her final year, when she became a difference -maker all the way around. I hope Tac realizes whatever her potential is sooner because she's going to be needed sooner.
