Garbage State? Butgers folks love that line.Dominate The Garden State!
Nice - you are getting ahead of the curve on this one....after all, why keep all that angst until the end?Great get, and now the 500 plus daily grind to keep him commences. That’s has to be nerve wracking for coaches. Oh well better to have recruited and lost than never to have recruited at all. I guess.
I promise you that if the unforeseen, unimaginable tragedy does occur i won’t post the following:Nice - you are getting ahead of the curve on this one....after all, why keep all that angst until the end?
Coach Traut is recruiting well and developing players now as well.Coach Traut doing a great job recruiting , some on this board were throwing him under the bus year one. Outstanding work with the O- Line in the Rose Bowl.
I’ll say that I was somewhat skeptical at first but he’s won me over. Not that my approval matters one bit.Coach Traut doing a great job recruiting , some on this board were throwing him under the bus year one. Outstanding work with the O- Line in the Rose Bowl.
I promise you that if the unforeseen, unimaginable tragedy does occur i won’t post the following:
1. The staff cooled on him.
2. He was a long term project anyway.
3. No loss, we’re stacked at the position anyway.
4. Or other stupidity too numerous to mention.
I’m embarrassed when some posters here say those things when a young kid changes his mind.
Now of course there will be the ever popular Rutgers board comments “ Just wait he’ll be back with us in two years”. “He better never take a shower at Pedd State. Why would any parent ever let his kid go there”.
That’s what makes me cautious also. He’s only visited us and Rutgers. If he’d only visited Rutgers and Seton Hall, they may have gotten his commitment and they don’t even have a football team. He's a great get no doubt. Has to like what he sees in our improving offense too. But, I share your caution here - worth noting he has about 16 or so offers; he's the first class of 2025 PSU commit; and he's only visited TWO schools - Penn State and Rutgers. He may stick with Penn State, but if I were him I'd definitely take my visits (and I bet he does). It's part of the game.

Don't get me wrong, I wasn't recruited to play anything, but once I got my acceptance to Penn State, I threw away my other applications to John's Hopkins, Cornell, and Dartmouth. And yes, they were on paper back then!
My point is maybe he has just always wanted to go to Penn State!
So.....not really a lot then....Hang on. Your approval matters as much as anyone else’s here.
Didn't we have a QB from Toms River in the early 90's ?This is the first kid from Toms River since Frank Gianetti - late 1980s or early 1990s I believe. I think Gianetti went to East.
I don't know about Toms River, but we had Tom Bill.Didn't we have a QB from Toms River in the early 90's ?
Nope. As mentioned above this post, you are thinking of Tom Bill, who hailed from Hunterdon County, which is along the Delaware River - due west of Toms River.Didn't we have a QB from Toms River in the early 90's ?
I hear you but he’s probably 16 years old so I’ll give him a pass. Much better than the stupid hat thing that some do or some silly video.University of Penn State? Come on man, at least know the name of the school you are committing to.
He also said it will be for his next 4 years so presumably this kid is very advanced academically, graduating high school in two years!University of Penn State? Come on man, at least know the name of the school you are committing to.

I’m pretty sure Derrick Williams said the same thing when he committed.University of Penn State? Come on man, at least know the name of the school you are committing to.
He did. I think that’s where this whole thing got startedI’m pretty sure Derrick Williams said the same thing when he committed.
16ishThat’s one big dude for a 16? year old. Glad to have him on board.
