Wasn’t there someone on here that was constantly complaining about no WRs in this class every time someone committed?

2-3 DTs are coming. Just not sure how soon.
We need a game changer. It’s the only thing the defense has been missing. Mustipher and a few others have been good players, but we haven’t had anyone that can wreck the other team’s game plan. It’s missing. And if PSU is going to beat Michigan while Harbaugh is the coach, they need one to stuff the run and push the pocket.

Completely agree. I've always felt coach Johnson leaving was a big reason but we have seemed to just miss on a bunch of top tier DT last 5-7 years

Hate to break the news to you, but Penn State has already beaten Michigan while Harbaugh was coach…multiple times.

Brown looks like he could be fun to watch after a year or two in the program. A bigger version of Hamler.

Not this version of Michigan where they go old school and pound the ball running right at people. This is a different offensive version of Michigan than the early Harbaugh days when they tried to be more open..ala Josh Gattis’ offense.

Seems like the exactly same Michigan…just playing a little better now…well, except against mighty TCU (and Georgia).

The Josh Gattis years were recent 2019-2021. The early years of coach Harbaugh (2015-2018) had similar offenses to what we currently see from them.

The point remains relevant. PSU needs a DT that can disrupt that game plan. 2016 loss to Michigan, PSU allowed 326 yards rushing. 2018 loss, 259 yards rushing allowed. Last year, 418 yards allowed. Michigan did it to everyone last year. To beat them you have to consistently stop the run. PSU has largely been unable to do that. PSU has the LBs, DEs and secondary are compete with anyone. Stop the run and they are in good shape.

Expect 4 DT coming
Umeh, Cunningham, Palepale & Cook
not to mention Liam Andrew’s which can play OT or DT
2 DE’s Williams & Harvey
