IF we get Hill. I'm impressed too. He did a very good job considering what little time he had to hire a staff and get this class improved and get in the transfer portal and find guys. Should be really good next year when he has time to get things going. I wasn't initially a fan of the hire but I'm starting to think I was wrong. He definitely came into a dumpster fire.

Does on3 do a composite? If not, I still tend to use 247s composite, which has us at 35. Which, just like 27, is fine.

Overall, happy with what Lebby has done.

Just amazing that 15th SEC is 27th or even 35th nationally. And we all know there is very little difference between 15 and 27 in true evaluation. Not much difference talent wise in high 3 stars (88-89) and low 4 stars(90-92) but creates the difference between 12-15 and 23-27 in the rankings. So I think we should go to the ratings to compare where we really are.

5 star is 98-100 usually 30-34 yearly
4 star is 90-97 usually about 250 yearly
3 star is 80-89 usually about 1000 yearly
2 star is under 80 usually about 3000.😳

According to on3 we are 14th not 15th.

When you start to look at and see that we had 4 kids rated as four stars yet dropped to three stars within weeks some within days of committing or signing with us makes you really question the services..
By on3 or 247 or both?

That is wild to me. How does that even happen? Gotta be a deliberate strategy, based on the 85 scholarship limit and the sheer amount of transfers they picked up earlier this year.
It’s a strategy they have. They signed 16 transfer portal players and have the number one transfer portal class according to Rivals and 247.

A lot of really good players wait until the last minute to sign. They allow the big money schools to bid their price up waiting on that big payoff.

Yep, he came out and said that was what they planned on doing back during the season. He said he thinks the portal hurts high school kids. He also said why take a chance on a high school kid who hasn't proven that they can play at the next level when you can sign grown men who can.
