All this after the "article" saying that MSU couldn't compete in the SEC and should leave. That was especially funny considering that both our basketball and baseball programs are arguably better and at worst at least as good as their programs.

And of couse, they all thought that Saban had a chance to get them to the NC game if he could get them past LSU. Little did they know that they would lose to ULM.

I will say that Saban's comments lumping their loss with ULM's was offensive to me just because we were obviously a pretty good team and it was a home game for us. I think everyone with a brain knew that the MSU/Bama game was likely to be close and could go either way, of course we got he 100 yard INT return that swung momentum in our favor for the rest of the game.

Of course, the interesting thing is if you listen to the Croom video "Say it out Loud", he talked about how the staff really felt like MSU had a better team than Bama.

in the past 12 years in football. It's arbitrary but true. Considering our horrible record against them overall...it's fairly impressive.

I have been living in T-Town for years and have seen Wilson play some really good ball at Hoover. The ninth grade team beat us(TCHS) over there one year and he was like the mad bomber for his age. I know that's a long way from being a good college QB, but he was running an offense very similar to what their new O.C. is installing over here now. My son says it's the same but I think it's a little different. Looks to me like a version of the spread combined with a few plays that look like the WC, and some veer mixed in as well. It looks very aggressive and a lot of misdirection. Wilson will be much more at home in this style of offense. They may light some folks up this year. I hope we can come over here and wear them down with D&D and keep their offense sitting on their butts on the bench watching most of the game. They hate seeing us play old style Bear type bust you up football. Another win over here would be so sweet.
