Woman facing 649 out-of-state warrants arrested in Columbus
A woman charged with 22 pages worth of felonies and misdemeanors was arrested in Columbus last week.
And that my friends is the Portland Cement Crack of the Week.If she gets 3 more convictions, she gets a Buckeye sticker on her forehead.
She needs Jackie Chiles!"I'm sure it's just a misunderstanding"
Wow. The "F's" are felonies and the "M's" are misdemeanors. Hard to believe a judge would let her go if he/she saw that rap sheet.
We just had a case, locally, where an out-of-town guy from out of state was accused of resisting arrest. He simply refused the officer's demand for him to stay in his car and got rung up for resisting (along with a moving violation). His attorney wanted sentencing to be done via zoom so the accused didn't have to travel back to the area. The judge refused citing the fact that this is a felony violation, that will probably be drawn down to a misdemeanor, but the judge wanted to make sure the accused 'got the message'.
My point here is why would a judge let this person go once he/she saw the rap sheet? An officer would normally take her into jail and she'd be arraigned for any Felony charge. Once seen, she'd rot in jail until a very hefty bail was paid and an ankle bracelet was applied.
A guess: nonviolent, all stemming from one case, not a huge amount of money involved (reported as thousands, but how many thousands?).I agree. How in the world was she granted bail with that list of charges?
Such a handsome woman!![]()
