He was the greatest of the crooners, I don't care what anyone says. And this was his greatest song, I don't care what anyone says about that either. From 1961; Despite the message below, you CAN listen by clicking the link.

If someone can't appreciate Mr. Bennet's talent I just don't know what to say to you

Mr. Bennett could've dropped completely out of sight if his son hadn't encouraged him to record with others. And there was a large number
of contemporary artists who wanted to record with him. Quite the old age resurgence that brought him new, younger fans.

I'm glad he didn't shrivel away and provided so much more music for others to hear and take interest.

Dude, what are you talking about ?
Take a listen to "I got you under my skin" duet. The timing, the phasing is just perfection. I selected just this one song, but all of their duets are exceptional.
If one can't appreciate the musicality displayed during these sessions, then there is not much to discuss.

EDIT: Come to think of it, and I'm assuming here, but what guy would say Eww

Why do people say "passed" instead of " Died " ? Is one more correct/polite than the other ?

No sorrow here over his passing. The dude lived a super long life 2 weeks shy of his 97th birthday. Most importantly, he lived a fulfilling and rewarding life doing what he loved - singing.

I think it's just a softer way of saying someone died, as in they passed from this life or earth. I don't think one is more correct/polite than the other.
