For those who didn’t have the pleasure to know Dr. E. Mac Huddleston of Pontotoc, it was your loss. He was one of the nicest and most genuine folks that ever walked the planet. MSU grad, Vietnam Vet (helicopter pilot), Veterinarian, MSU CVM Faculty, MSU Foundation, law enforcement officer and state legislator. He was the epitome of public service and loved Mississippi State University. Prayers to his loved ones

I just heard the news in the last hour. I have known Dr Mac since I was a kid when he was the local Veterinarian in Pontotoc in the 70's. Dr Mac was a wonderful human, tremendous public servant & a diehard Bulldog. He had a tough last couple of years. RIP Dr Mac.

I remember him.....we both were in accounting together in the 60's. Good guy. RIP.....
