Our 2 RB’s and center were injured and we don’t have the depth to accommodate, I guess.

That pretty much sums up the offense last night. We've been lucky with injuries during the game but it caught us. Remember when Johnson was running right at the start? Then he disappeared and we lost our center and played shuffle with the OL. That's what really hurt us and yes we didn't have the depth to adjust.

we could not or would not run the ball like we did the last two weeks. That doesn't mean three yards and a cloud of dust every play. It does mean if you can't or won't run it enough to keep defenses honest, you ain't going to
Because Kentucky had a better team?

You can’t just ‘decide’ to do something and make it so. Our inability to run had a lot to do with Kentucky. Obviously you didn’t notice but they brought the pain in the trenches, just like LSU.

Offense lost the game...State averages 35+ points and held to 17. Kentucky averaged 26 and scored 27. State defense averages allowing 22 points and gave up 27. Kentucky defense allows 16 and gave up 17. It fell on the offense. The defense did their job, but not the offense. We weren't going to win with rushing, but 22 yds is abysmal. 225 yds passing wasn't nearly good enough.

Not to be nit-picky but we scored on a pic-six. Offense scored 10 Pts

We lost because we could do nothing to their line of scrimmage. They trap blocked at will. Except for the pick 6, which was an play by a single individual, we did very little to stop them.

That 4 yard punt didn't help either at that point in the game.
