Gotta make it easy for a SL to justify including us like OM has the past 3 seasons.

Super conferences are already here, called the SEC and Big 10. Neither one of them will dissolve to join a new conference. Each may add a few more teams, but neither conference is going anywhere.
Exactly. Super conferences are almost over. Just waiting for the clock to run on the ACC grant of rights for the last phase.

I don't think we'll ever see one super conference. I think the closest we may get would be a slightly greater expansion of Big 10 and SEC, with the B12 picking up the scraps.

Most likely is that the SEC and Big 10 eventually go to around 24 teams each and are considered the only "major" conferences. I think we're safe in a top 48.

Right. This clown even says at the end this isn't happening anytime soon. Just another clickbait guess.

We all know it'll be the SEC/B1G, then the Big 12/ACC (ACC will survive ultimately, too many schools not to, in some variation). Around 60-65 P4 teams, give or take. The only real question in my mind is, does G5 split off and form their own playoff, or do they expand the 12-teamer?

Yep. What is the point of going to a smaller “Super Conference”. It would just be a junior NFL with the top 10 dominating the other 22 have nots.

it would be the 70s-90s NFL where Ohio State, Bama, Georgia would be Pittsburgh, San Francisco, and Dallas.

Without some kind of draft this super league would get boring very quickly. The parity the draft induces, or at least is supposed to induce (looking at you Jets), is what makes the NFL popular.
