Michael Petro, the 9th ranked high school senior in the class of 2023, was very interested in Mississippi State this summer. I do not think we have any interest in him. He is currently committted to UTSA.
we currenty I have a commitment from the 40th ranked kicker in the class of 2023.
and before someone says, “if he is committed to utsa, that means he is not good enough to play in the sec,” think state of Texas, think big oil money, think NIL!
I am sure playing in the sec would be any kicker’s dream! Who knows what can happen? No one in the class of 2023 has signed a LOI yet!!
