2nd hand info from someone who knows Dylan and was there, for what it's worth. Personally, I hope it's true and that he accepts it.

from offering this kid. IF he develops...great. We would get all sorts of free pub from him playing whatever position. If not...well we have wasted schollies on worse high school players. It takes all sorts of players to make a good college team and you never know exactly where someone might fit in and he has been a solid winner in high school. If nothing else, we could use more of that mind set on our team going forward.

We may as well just be happy to get him. Worst case scenario is that he never plays. There are always going to be players on a team that don't deserve their scholarship---now I'm not hoping that he will be, or think that he will be one, but as a worst case scenario I say "oh well"...And if nothing else, we at least know that he's got the "gene".

but I don't question the attitude of the team. At least not this past year.

Favre gives us a little bit of depth, and that's about all he will ever do.

is a no-brainer. Right now, we only have Russell and Relf. (please don't say Stegall) At the very least, we need someone to run the scout team. It's not like his scholarship was going to go to a 4 star O-linemen.

The funny thing about the debate on Favre is that he's a better prospect than anyone Croom signed in 5 years.

for this blast of truth.

but how the hell was Tyson Lee a 4 star, and Dylan Favre a 2 star? Dylan is taller, has better statistics across the board, and has more upside I think than Tyson did coming out of JUCO. Does anyone have a good explination for that?

Josh Riddell was a 4 star.

Juco rankings really mean less than HS rankings if you can believe that.

admittedly gave a JC WR a 4 star rating after watching him ONE time. He had almost all of his catches and yards for the entire year in that one game. So that gives you an idea of the amount of coverage that Junior Colleges get.

lots of people said that he saw that Carroll was going to be the guy so he transferred, but that doesn 't make sense b/c Carroll was terrible.
