best beat writer ever from the Clarion Liar had same name in the 90's so I started looking. Found an obit from 2021 where our Sekou Smith writer died of Covid age 48 in 2021. The obit listed his wife and kids and there wasn't a Sekou Jr but that's an odd name to be coincidental. Anybody know anything about the signee or our old writers families? RIP Sekou, you were in my opinion the best writer we ever had from the Clarion Liar
