Committee will rank us around 15 this week. With 2 weeks to play, and we get Clemson, who probably is gonna be in the ACC championship.

Seems like not long ago we had several anti-playoff guys on here saying they weren't interested in seeing a 12 vs 5 matchup. Wonder if that still holds true.
Even they would admit that the first year of the 12-team playoff in combination with our season, is making the last 2 weeks of our season more exciting, than if the 4-team playoff had continued into this season.
I didn't want the playoff expansion but I will admit this is a truth. I still don't see it happening for SC but this can add a new element to the season.
I dunno about our ranking this week. It was a fantastic win but depends on how the pollsters feel about us not coming close to covering the spread. It was a ridiculous spread though.
I've always wanted a playoff system, but I thought jumping the gun to 12 teams right off the bat was too much...... I was thinking 8
You think we jump UGA? We share 2 losses (ole miss and Bama). But they beat Texas and destroyed Clemson.
With their recent run of success, and how they ended last year, I just don’t see us leapfrogging them. We were already ahead of LSU, and believe their loss today hurt us.

Max 2 teams from the SEC with a possible third team gets in the playoff's. We are not the top 3 in the SEC.
Their QB was a game time decision, probably why spread was big
I never thought we would make it after the rip off refs stole that one game, but I disagree on only 2 SEC teams being in... No way. ACC and PAC only getting 1 in is more likely imo

YES. The entire country knows it. Its very rare that referees steal a game so badly that the whole country agrees. We should be 9-2 and ranked around 10th heading into Clemson.

Clemson is not even making it to the ACC Championship game. Losing to Louisville killed their chances.
As of today, Gamecocks have no way to get into playoffs. How do you jump Texas, Ole Miss, Alabama, UGA, and Tennessee? Even if aTm beats Texas, I just don’t see it… Maybe Auburn beats Bama and Vandy beats UT….
Some people are setting themselves up for disappointment. I'd be realistic and shoot for an attainable and very respectable goal for this season: finish in the Top 15, something done only 6 times by SC. And more importantly, BUILD on that.
We can only control what we can control. Best Wofford. Beat Clemson. Let the chips fall where they may.
Yes, the refs probably changed the outcome of the LSU game. But the refs didn't change the outcomes of the Ole Miss or Bama games. Could have should have played better.
