I remember seeing MLB pitchers being interviewed and every one of them said the hand/arm shake is the kiss of death.
Yeah. I don't care what anyone says. When a pitcher throws a pitch and immediately comes out of the game, it's not good. I hope I'm wrong, but this looks for all the world like another one of those situations where he's day-to-day for a couple of months, then needs surgery. Pure speculation on my part, but we've all seen this many times before.

According to Wikipedia, Landon Sims had UCL 10 days after his March 4th 2022 injury. Crazy how similar the timing is.

Is there no SEC requirement to report player injuries? Or is it purely a coaching decision? We don't have any status on a couple other players as well.

No requirement to report injuries. It's the Dan Mullen rule. We don't talk about injuries. Assume the worst and you usually won't be far wrong.
