I was hoping to see Stevenson foe another year. Guess he doesn’t want to play in a slow down screening offense. Dangit.

Was hoping everyone would stay that could

Parris evidently became a proponent of the Wisconsin style of offense when he worked up there. He'll have to start over selling it here.

Some attrition is to be expected during coaching changes. Some will transfer out, and some will transfer in.
It may be a bit uncomfortable initially.

If he don't wanna be here, he don't wanna be here. I say 'don't let the door hit ya'.
I know…….and agree. I guess I am old school and it’s about loving your school not necessarily one person. I love the University of South Carolina. After going there I loved it more. I guess young people nowadays just don’t see it that way.

Funny how so many folks bashed the kid when he came here for not being the pure shooter reports claimed he was saying he was just a guy who shot a lot of threes while not making very many. Now folks are sad he's leaving.

Hilarious.

Those people weren’t me. He is a baller. Him and Reese were my favorites

He wasn't here to play for the jersey.. that's the problem with mens bball. Go listen to JoJo English from this morning on 107.5 and he spells it out pretty clear.

The best success USC has ever had was fueled by in state players and Frank failed to do this except for PJ and Sin. Paris better be ready to glue this thing back together and utilize the alumni and the former players currently coaching in the high school ranks to get this ship back on course.

Great insight from JoJo.

It's time now to look ahead. I'm too old to watch another coach leave under adverse conditions. I want this guy to do something while I'm still outside the urn. If he does, it won't matter much how he got here.

Stevenson will be looking to play for his fourth school in college, as he has one year of eligibility left. The Lacey, WA, native played at Wichita State for two seasons, then returned home to play at Washington, before playing for Frank Martin last season at South Carolina.

Four schools? I don't think "loving your school" is as important to Stevenson as it is to you,

He's flighty. No loss.

Too streaky of a player. I see mid major in his future.

He's a good free throw shooter. Kept hearing how much of a 3 point threat he was going to be, but I never really saw it. Took a lot of shots, but his percentage couldn't have been higher than the next guy. Played average defense. Nothing special.

Sorry, thought this post was about JC -

I'm not the typical FGF negative town poster, but zero chance we've got a chance at GG now.

As a non-typical, positive, FGF poster, I really think that could have been such a huge bump and would have made all the difference in the world, starting at a 5 instead of a 0, but I'm still going to remain optimistic about what CLP can build from the ground up. More than disappointed in the decision to fire CFM, but I'm going to remain excited about the new future we can build.

Look it's a done deal. Any coaching change in this atmosphere is likely to see attrition of players. It's to be expected and we might as well accept it and move on. There will be some bad things happening and hopefully some good things happening. Might as well set back and hope for the best.

That’s not saying much.

I didn’t have any confidence in the team Frank put together. Just let Paros start from scratch.

Stevenson might have been our best overall player imo. He was streaky shooting, but averaged 11.6 points per game, was phenomenal from the FT line, rebounded well, and was a damn good defender. Going on his fourth school next year, he seems to have loyalty issues.

IMO, MBB's best success was our latter days in the ACC with all the recruits McGuire "imported" from the NYC area. Next best success was fueled by the aforementioned instate recruits.
