Meaningless speculation. We can live with that.

I probably won't give it a second thought, right up until announcement is made about an NIL deal here or elsewhere. Anything between now and then is just rumor.

That being said, I'm interested in finding an OC who's gameplan is not "Sellers, wait til you're about to get sacked then run around and do something good".

Granted, an oversimplification.

Agree, it's just talk and speculation, but it is true we do not have NIL money to compete if someone really wants to make a play and the Sellers family is willing to listen.
Regarding the OC question, I think until the ''Great Wall of Carolina'' comes to fruition we will need Sellers for our offense to be effective. Maybe Elliott working with the OLine is a solution.

Agreed. I would like to at least see a "great speed bump" before I start looking for a "great wall" though.

:)

Yeah, I posted a thread earlier in the week about this, asking in light of rampant tampering that goes on, what Sellers NIL value must be right now. It's a lock he's being contacted by other programs. He won't go anywhere though.

Clown writer stating he doesn’t want him to transfer while wanting him to transfer.
I thought the same thing. It's hard to be against it and them suggest viable options for it to happen.
But I do expect more of these type articles regarding Sellers

Why would he transfer with his brother coming in to play with him. People need to stop with all this crazy click bait items to get hits. He is Gamecock through and through, he will be a Gamecock legend when he becomes a heisman trophy winner and national champion before his eligibility is up.

This guy says there's smoke for Sellers to Auburn.

"Some would argue this would be a lateral move, but in the end, money talks. Sellers has not put out his intentions to transfer yet, but there is some smoke behind the scenes. The market is expected to be massive, and there are several destinations that could make sense. Auburn is desperate to find an answer behind center and adding a 6-3, 242-pound dual threat into the Hugh Freeze offense would be exciting."

I know for a certainty other schools are contacting him. Absolutely do not see him leaving.

wow, our oline wasn't great at protecting the passer, however when they did, sellers and the team had a solid passing game. hopefully, all that oline talent that has redshirted will be ready next year. I assumed another Loggains hater? every announcer I saw praised his ability to change offense after rattler left, and the improvement of sellers. but I'm sure they know less than the couch qbs here

Or someone who saw our best plays (and only td's) come by Sellars avoid a collapsing pocket and improvising a long run.

I understand the "trust the coaches" idea and never questioning them. I just don't agree with that line of thought.

Well, to be fair, Sellers seemed at his best when the line collapsed, chaos ensued and he had to improvise.

So maybe there's a method to madness of having a bad OL.

Isn't it illegal to do that?

Edit: "illegal"

I stumbled across one of those articles yesterday (on another site not listed here in the op). I’d honestly be embarrassed to write such an article!! Talk about simply making things up - yeesh!!
