Still in better shape than last season so the overreaction is a bit overkill.
You can’t blame any longtime gamecock fan for being gunshy. And for Beamer to actually say “out for a while”….. I’m gonna take that as season-ending (there; that’s my overreaction).Still in better shape than last season so the overreaction is a bit overkill.

Only two OL injuries - maybe we can overcome as long as more don’t stack up.
We should cancel that game.Let’s hope they don’t drop like flies against ODU.
Also Markee Anderson is out as wellFor those that didn't want to search.

Two South Carolina football linemen out for opener, Shane Beamer says
Here's what South Carolina football coach Shane Beamer said on Thursday night about the Gamecocks injury list before the opener.www.greenvilleonline.com
Beamer said offensive linemen Jakai Moore and Aaryn Parks are dealing with injuries and will not be recovered by the first game. According to Beamer, Parks rolled his ankle and will be out for a while. Beamer said he's optimistic about a midseason return for Parks, who transferred to South Carolina from Oklahoma this spring.
Moore missed both scrimmages this preseason but Beamer didn't specify his injury Thursday. Moore played 11 games for South Carolina last year, starting in nine.
"He is going to be out for a little while," Beamer said. "We'll see how long term that will be shortly."
