I, personally, don't like it, but I know there are those that do like variety. Anyhow, here's our helmet breakdown since we started wearing 3 different helmets in 2016:

White-38 games
Black-27 games
Garnet-22 games

I kept up with this during the Muschamp era, but stopped once it appeared Beamer would reduce the number of combinations. I just ran through the schedule the last couple years to get the Beamer tally.

Under Muschamp (math might not be completely accurate): garnet helmet 10-7 / white helmet 8-14 / black helmet 9-12
Under Beamer: garnet helmet 2-3 / white helmet 7-7 / black helmet 4-1

That is an interesting outcome. I don't quite know what I was expecting, but that is an interesting set of statistics.

I love that we change it. Garnet, white and black look good in all combinations.

At home nothing beats the 80s throwback of garnet lids, black jerseys with gamecocks and white pants.

On the road, the storm troopers (I wish we'd were the George rogers era white helmets) and the 80s garnet helmets, white jerseys and black pants are the best.

I even like it when we wear the dreaded garnet pants/black jerseys and vice versa.

Not a thread of black stitching was worn in 2022. I do believe that's the first time since 2013.
